Today’s the day! Our organization was officially established on May 10, 2004. Happy 20th Birthday, M3AAWG!

Our members are the reason we have had outstanding success over these past two decades. They bring us the best from industry. M3AAWG has always been a place where the best members find a home and the best ideas find a voice.

We have also experienced a remarkable evolution since 2004, transitioning from MAAWG to M3AAWG in 2012. And the fight against online abuse seems to grow significantly more complex.

One aspect that has remained constant over 20 years is the unwavering commitment of our many volunteers. I would like to emphasize this highly dedicated group of committee chairs, champions, expert advisors, and contributors, and the vital role they play in propelling the organization's progress. They build momentum for every initiative, and they successfully bring those initiatives to completion.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the M3AAWG Board of Directors, who are wholeheartedly committed to the organization's mission and vision.

The success and growth of M3AAWG can be attributed to the tireless efforts of our volunteer leadership and the support of our members. In the face of an increasingly complex fight, it is You who make it possible to strive for  a world free from online abuse. Thank you all!

Happy Birthday, M3AAWG!

With thanks,
Amy Cadagin, Executive Director
Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG)
